About Tom

Tom was a policeman at the Dublin Airport for 20 years before immigrating to America. He is a naturalized citizen and very proud of his heritage and his adopted country.

Tom has been a carpenter for 40 years, doing a lot of finish work of crown molding, fireplace mantels, book cases, cupboards and the like. He has recently returned to making furniture, and takes great pride in the quality of his finish work. He likes working with any kind of wood and can build anything to your design and specification. Tom loves politics and history, and we expect he will start a blog in order to express himself in the near future.

Some of his work is on display at Mustache Flats Gallery, 302 N. Third Street in McCall. He also sometimes sells his furniture at the McCall Farmer’s Market and Eagle Saturday Market, and at area arts and crafts events, which we will announce from time to time on this web site. And you can call for an appointment to see the work at his shop.

About Tom and Merrily

Tom and Merrily were introduced by family members in Boise. They courted for a year at the now-defunct “Dublin Up” pub in downtown Boise, drinking shameless quantities of Blackstone Merlot. They were married on February 14, 2003, at the Hitchin’ Post in Coeur d’Alene. Together they have seven children, 27 grandchildren and three great-grandsons. Merrily has been practicing law in Boise and McCall since 1976. Merrily’s mom, June Lynch, 90, lives with them. They have homes in Garden City and in McCall where they plan to retire.
